Restaurante Listoral

The day before I departed from Macau and back to Hong Kong, we went to a restaurant near A-Ma Temple (媽閣廟), Restaurante Listoral. It is a pretty famous restaurant serving food in Portuguese style.

Hot bread served before our dishes came.

This is a famous dishes in Macau. Codfish cakes. I love this.

Then, a plate of clams.

This seafood rice. I find it very nice cooked with tomato base soup.
Roast Sardines. That was a very ordinary roasted sardines.

Restaurant Dragon, Macau

On new year's eve, I went to Macau to meet a good friend who traveled all the way from Singapore. I was still working on new year's eve and not went off until 4pm. I took 7.30pm Turbojet to Macau and surprisingly, not much people traveled at that time as I thought.

I reached Macau late and we were starving. Before visit The Ruins of St. Paul's, we must have our dinner 1st. We went to Restaurant Dragon. This is a restaurant that serve Portugese style dishes. By the time we sat down in the restaurant, it was 9pm. To get something real fast to fill up our empty stomach, we had ordered cheesy roasted bread. It turned out delicious but we can make this ourself at home actually. :P

We had ordered stir fried mixed vegetable. Nothing special, no suprised taste or smell, it just, vegetables.

After waiting for half an hour, the 3rd dish finally served. African Chicken (非洲雞) is the name. It was a delicious dish. Deep fried chicken with a special taste sauce.

Lastly, we ordered Portugese style roasted dark rice. That was delicious too, but not outstanding.

Dragon’s Treasure, The Bubble

During the visit to Macau, I chose to stay at a newly opened hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, City of Dreams. We went to watch Dragon’s Treasure show at The Bubble, a dome-shaped theatre and one of the iconic landmarks located in City of Dreams. It was a spectacular 10 minutes visual extravaganza that tells the story of the Dragon Pearl and its mysterious powers as experienced by each of the four Dragon Kings.

The show starting off with some jelly fish type droplight.

Then, a mini waterfall came out from the middle of The Bubble ceiling with different effect of light and music.

We had brought into the deep sea...... We're surrounding by fishes.

Jellyfishes..

Finally, the dragon.

The entrance fee to this show is free of charge. :)

Est. De Comidas 紅屋

I went to Macau recently, visited a restaurant which serving Portegese food. This restaurant not doing much advertisement and most of their customer are from local.

Feel very homey in this restuarant.

Ordered a Portugese beer, Sugres for him.

We had ordered broccoli bacalhau for the our 1st dish. That was a quite delicious dish. Bacalhau dishes common in Portugal. Bacalhau essential ingredient is salted dried codefish. This dish, bacalhau mixed with mashed potatoes and steam with broccoli.

While waiting for 2nd dish, I was taking a photo of the cute chicken toothpick holder.

Finally, the 2nd dish cames up. It was seafood rice. Erm.. from this photo, probably you may think this is just a normal rice. But, it was a very delicious rice with lots of seafood ingredients in there. Mussels, shrimps, clams, fish and tomatoes.
